Just a little switch-up from regular marinara, with a slight tang of Vodka…don’t worry, the alcohol is cooked out, leaving its unique taste.

A little parm and some half and half, makes a sauce that you will want to rotate into all of your pasta recipes.

You can use this with your favorite pasta, but I used the traditional Rigatoni pictured here.

Pasta is truly one of the best comfort foods, and it really is very inexpensive to make, along with tomato based sauces.

Let’s be honest, it’s the sauce ON the pasta that makes it so delicious.

The best part about that is, there are so many pasta sauce recipes, including this simple but amazing sauce.

It’s just different enough from marinara to be in a category of its own.

The addition of cream and parmesan cheese make a creamy sauce…and vodka? You may just have to try it to understand the slightly tangy flavor it adds.

This recipe may make you switch up your marinara routine hence forth.

So have your in-laws over, throw a big party, or just eat it all yourself, like you do with all the cookies! Wink, wink.

Check out my Fresh Pasta recipe in the archives. Perfect for any sauce, but amazing with this one!
