Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons oilive oil
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 4 garlic cloves chopped
- 1 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
- 1 14 oz can tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil chopped (or 1 tablespoon dry)
- 1 tablespoon fresh oregano chopped (or 1/2 tablespoon dry)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/3 cup vodka
- 3/4 cup half and half
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese grated

Instructions
- On medium high heat, pour in olive oil, onions and garlic and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- add tomatoes and tomato sauce, stir and add basil, oregano, salt, pepper and red pepper flakes. Simmer for about 10 minutes
- Add vodka, half and half, and parmesan cheese. Stir and simmer for 10 more minutes.
- Serve on your favorite pasta, but traditionally, it's served on rigatoni, as pictured.
